How It Works (Retransfer Technology)

  1. The Reverse Print: The printer first prints your card’s text, graphics, and color panels in reverse directly onto the underside of this clear 800012-601 transfer film.

  2. Thermal Bonding: The printer then thermally melts and laminates the film securely onto the surface of the plastic card.

  3. The Result: The printed artwork is completely “sandwiched” between the protective film and the card. This yields true edge-to-edge printing and creates a durable barrier that protects against fading, scratching, and everyday wear—making it especially ideal for smart cards with uneven surfaces or embedded chips.
